Michael Murphy Production, Inc

Michael Murphy Productions, Inc is a multi-media producing company, with over twenty years of producing programming for Television, DVD, and the Internet.
In 1987 Michael began a 20 + year relationship with the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, creating programming that has been distributed internationally in virtually every medium.

In 1992, Cilista Eberle joined the company, bringing with her 10 years of film and television experience. The two have worked together to create diverse programming for ATT, BRAVO, FOX, MSN Video, NHK, PBS, TBS, VH1, and others

Michael began working in high definition in 1992, and began producing for the Internet in 2000. After producing many music-based documentaries, the critically acclaimed HD documentary on New Orleans culture and music “Make it Funky!” was released in 2005. In 2007, MMP worked with MSN Video on their worldwide live Internet broadcast from the Live Earth event, producing multiple green pieces and interviews from around the UK, S. Africa and New York City.

Most recently completed is a documentary on the photographer Clarence John Laughlin. We are in development on two documentaries and one music based project.
